Method:
16 oz frozen squid rings (frozen, thaw before using)
1/2 cup buttermilk*
2 pcs eggs
1/3 cup flour
1/2 cup semolina or cornmeal
1/2 tsp garlic powder
a pinch salt
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp sweet paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup cooking oil spray
Recipe:
Add the squid rings to the buttermilk and let it sit for at least 30 mins.
Combine the flour and the cornmeal (or the semolina) and season the mixture with salt, paprika, cayenne, dried oregano.
Beat the eggs and dip each ring in the flour, eggs and breadcrumbs
spray the rings with some oil and airfry for 8 mins at 400F
serve with marinara sauce.
