From day one, Fritaire was built to be different.

NO TOXINS. NO GUESSWORK. JUST PEACE OF MIND.

We chose glass — not coated baskets or mystery non-stick surfaces — so you can cook without worrying about BPA, Teflon, PFAS, or other “forever chemicals.”

We also reimagined what an air fryer could do.

THE PIONEERS OF THE SELF-CLEANING AIR FRYER.

We pioneered the first-ever self-cleaning air fryer. After cooking, simply add soap and water, press a button, and let Fritaire do the rest. No scrubbing. No soaking. No excuses.

We decided to take it one step further.

ACCESSORIES WITH ENDLESS OPPORTUNITIES.

The Fritaire Air Fryer comes with rotisserie functionality, versatile accessories, and intuitive controls that make everyday meals faster, simpler, and genuinely enjoyable.

IT ALL STARTED WITH A DREAM

“How do you build something that doesn’t exist?”

This was what Irie Hansen, the co-founder of Fritaire, asked herself.

During the COVID lockdowns, when days blurred together and kitchens quietly became the heart of daily life, Irie and her husband Andreas —now Fritaire’s CEO — found themselves cooking at home more than ever before. Meals weren’t just meals anymore; they were moments of normalcy, comfort, and care.

Andreas, an avid home cook, wanted to bring an air fryer into their kitchen. Irie hesitated.

Every option felt wrong. The appliances were bulky and black, built to be hidden away, not lived with. Cleaning felt like a chore. And beneath it all was a bigger concern — non-stick coatings, chemicals, and materials she didn’t feel comfortable heating, day after day, for their family.

It wasn’t just about cooking. It was about trust.

So instead of settling, they started asking better questions.

What if an air fryer could be genuinely non-toxic? What if it was made of glass, so you could see what you were cooking? What if cleanup didn’t feel like punishment for wanting convenience? And what if it was beautiful enough to live on your counter?

It didn’t exist. So they created it.

Not as a product idea, but as a belief: that everyday cooking could besafer, simpler, and more joyful — without compromise.

No, most air fryers rely on static baskets; rotisserie and circulating accessories are not standard features and was invented by Fritaire.

No, self-cleaning is uncommon, and Fritaire was the first to introduce it. It's enabled by designs like glass bowls that support steam-based cleaning.

No, most air fryers offer limited modes. Fritaire introduced a multi-function system designed to replace several appliances.
