Let's celebrate National Potato Day together. Here's a simple but super tasty recipe to enhance your french fries!
3 medium russet (or idaho) potatoes
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp semolina (optional)
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper, to taste
Cut the potatoes into 1/4” sticks, place them in a large bowl and cover with cold water. Let sit for 30 minutes.
Rinse the potatoes and dry them with a clean towel.
Place the potatoes in a large bowl and drizzle them with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, semolina (if using), dried oregano, onion powder. Toss to coat.
Place the potatoes into the French Tumbler and air fry at 400F for 30-35 minutes, or until the fries turn golden and crispy.
Once the fries are ready, add to a bowl along with the garlic and the butter, toss around until the fries are evenly coated.
Serve and sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated parmesan.
Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
