Recipe:⁠
1 apple, peeled and cored ⁠
oil spray, for greasing ⁠
1/2 lemon, juiced ⁠
1/4 cup corn starch ⁠
2 tbsp granulated sugar ⁠
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder ⁠
1/4 tsp ginger powder ⁠
1/8 tsp ground cardamom⁠
1/2 tsp baking powder ⁠
1/2 tsp vanilla extract ⁠
1 large egg , room temperature ⁠
1/4 cup milk, room temperature ⁠
powdered sugar, for sprinkling ⁠

Method:⁠
Preheat Friatire to 320F. Thinly slice the apple with a mondolin Squeeze the lemon juice over the apple slices and set aside. In a medium bowl add corn starch, granulated sugar and spices, whisk everything together until well combined. In another bowl, mix together vanilla extract, egg, and milk. Add the dry ingredients to wet ingredients and combine thoroughly. Divide the apple slices and the cake batter into 2 greased ramekins and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes then sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy.⁠
