Juicy Hamburger in Fritaire⁠

1 lb 80% lean ground beef ⁠
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil⁠
1/2 tsp garlic powder ⁠
1/2 tsp onion powder ⁠
1/4 tsp liquid smoke (optional)⁠
1/4 tsp smoked paprika ⁠
2 tbsp barbecue sauce ⁠
1/2 tsp pepper ⁠
1/2 tsp salt ⁠
For serving ⁠
10 4 hamburger buns⁠
11 4 slices cheddar cheese or cheese of choice⁠
12 Topping of choice: lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles.. ⁠

Method:⁠
Preheat Fritaire to 380 F. ⁠
In a large mixing bowl combine beef, oil, liquid smoke (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, barbecue sauce, salt, and pepper. ⁠
Gently shape the mixture into 4 patties, trying to handle the meat as little as possible. ⁠
With your fingers press an indentation into the center of each burger. ⁠
Place the patties on the air stand, leaving some space between each one (if needed, cook in batches). ⁠
Air fry for 4 minutes, then flip the burger and cook for 4 minutes or until the internal temperature of the patties reaches 155 F. ⁠
Place one slice of cheese over each burger and cooke for additional minute. ⁠
Garnish with your favourite toppings and serve hot. ⁠
