Grill season is in full swing — but if you're skipping the smoke and charcoal, Fritaire’s got you covered.
These burgers get that charred-on-the-outside, juicy-on-the-inside magic right in your kitchen. No flare-ups. No weird residues.
And yes, you can toast the buns right in Fritaire, too. Add your favorite fixings and you’ve got an all-American bite that hits every time.
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb 80% lean ground beef
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp liquid smoke (optional)
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
2 tbsp barbecue sauce
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
For serving:
4 hamburger buns
4 slices cheddar cheese or cheese of choice
Topping of choice: lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, etc
RECIPE:
1. Preheat Fritaire to 380 F.
2. In a large mixing bowl combine beef, oil, liquid smoke (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, barbecue sauce, salt, and pepper.
3. Gently shape the mixture into 4 patties, trying to handle the meat as little as possible.
4. With your fingers press an indentation into the center of each burger.
5. Place the patties on the air stand, leaving some space between each one (if needed, cook in batches).
6. Air fry for 4 minutes, then flip the burger and cook for 4 minutes or until the internal temperature of the patties reaches 155 F.
7. Place one slice of cheese over each burger and cooke for additional minute.
8. Garnish with your favourite toppings and serve hot.
