MUMMY BACON JALAPEÑO POPPERS
A spooky, cheesy bite with a crispy twist 🧀🥓🌶️
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱:
▪️ 5 jalapeño peppers
▪️ 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
▪️ 4 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
▪️ 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
▪️ 1 tsp garlic powder
▪️ ½ small red onion, finely chopped
▪️ ¼ tsp paprika
▪️ Salt and pepper, to taste
▪️ 5 strips bacon
▪️ Black olives (for eyes)
▪️ Ranch dressing, for serving
𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
1. Wearing gloves, slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove seeds and veins.
2. Drizzle with olive oil and rub to coat evenly.
3. Transfer to Fritaire and air fry at 400°F for 5 minutes to soften. Let cool.
4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, onion, paprika, salt, and pepper.
5. Spoon the filling into each jalapeño half.
6. Slice bacon lengthwise and wrap around each popper, leaving space at the top for eyes.
7. Air fry at 350°F for 8 minutes or until bacon is golden and filling is melted.
8. Top each with two olive “eyes” and serve warm with ranch dressing.
