Recipe:
2 units salmon fillet, skin removed
2 tsp corn starch (or tapioca flour)
4 tbsp cold water
for garnish Toasted sesame seeds
for garnish fresh chives
For the marinade
4 tbsp honey
4 tbsp hoisin sauce
6 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp lime juice
2 tsp ginger paste
1 unit garlic clove, minced
1 tsp chili flakes
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp sesame oil
Method:
Cut the salmon into bite-size cubes.
In a medium bowl, mix together the marinade ingredients and then add the salmon
Let it marinade for at least 1/2 hour.
Air fry the salmon bites at 400F for 5-6 minutes, until slightly crisp
While the salmon is cookin, transfer the remaining marinade to a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Dissolve the starch in the cold water and add it to the marinade
Simmer for few minutes, making sure to whisk continually until the sauce has tickened.
Remove the salmon from the air fryer and glaze it with the sauce
Drizzle the salom bites with chili flakes, chives and sesame seeds.
