Helpful customer service! I really wanted to keep this, it is pretty in Cherry. It’s fun and funky to watch your food cook. I love the glass and health aspect of that vs all the chemical laden air fryers on the market.
Sadly, we won’t be keeping it. The design of having to pull off the top and side aside a hot piece of cookware doesn’t work for our family, especially the lil ones and pets around. We are “drawer openers” with the other air fryer designs and usually do add or flip during the cooking process to which having a pull open drawer is easier for kids. I hope they have a new design in the future where the top is attached to the base and you can simply open and close it. Overall though cooks well, pretty on the countertop. Also found it didn’t heat up the whole kitchen like some air fryers, so that’s a plus! I’d still highly recommend it.
The Self-Cleaning Glass Bowl Air Fryer - CHERRY
We are enjoying our first air fryer purchase so far. Love the color. Really like we can watch food cook and the clean up is easy…except for cleaning the rack of melted sauce and cheese. It does take a lot of scrubbing to clean the rack if it has cooled completely, so i have to wash it as soon as the food is cooked. There were small pieces of metal that poked a hole in my finger the first time I washed the rack. So I used a towel to try and bend them down. Because there is not a flat surface plate it isnt easy to cook some things like rice. Also if you have a few pieces to cook the tray goes off center when you load and unload. Still experimenting on times to cook and warm, but happy with most cooked items.
I bought this for my son and his girlfriend to use on college campus. Thus far, it’s a hit. They really like being able to cook some meals in their room with minimal effort. The machine is quiet, doesn’t smoke and is easy to clean with the few things he’s cooked thus far. My recommendation would be to have a little more information in the manual regarding food cook times and perhaps just a few recipes. I know there are recipes online, but it would be nice to have some in the manual too.
