INGREDIENTSā
ā 2 tbsp vegetable oilā
ā 2 small yellow onions, finely slicedā
ā 2 tsp granulated sugarā
ā 1 tbsp white vinegarā
ā Salt and pepper, to tasteā
ā 3 hot dogsā
ā 3 hot dog bunsā
ā Shredded cheese, to tasteā
ā Pickles, to tasteā
RECIPEā
1. In a pan, heat the oil and add the onions along with a generous pinch of salt and the sugar.ā
2. Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring from time to time, until the onions are golden brown and caramelized.ā
3. Add the white vinegar and cook until the onions are creamy.ā While the onions are cooking, preheat Fritaire to 400 F (200 C).ā
4. Place the hot dogs in a single layer on the Air Stand and cook for 6-7 minutes.ā
5. Once the hot dogs are cooked through, remove them from Fritaire and place the buns in to warm.ā
6. Place the hot dogs in the buns and return them to Fritaire.ā
7. Divide the pickles, caramelized onions, and cheese between the 3 hot dogs.ā
8. Air fry for a couple of minutes or until the cheese is melted.ā
