BAKED TORTILLA APPLE PIE
A cozy twist on classic apple pie 🍎🥧✨
Ingredients:
▪️ 1 gala apple
▪️ 2 tsp lemon juice
▪️ 1½ tbsp unsalted butter
▪️ 1½ tbsp brown sugar
▪️ 1 tbsp maple syrup
▪️ ½ tsp cinnamon powder
▪️ ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
▪️ ½ tsp vanilla extract
▪️ Pinch of salt
▪️ 1 tbsp cornstarch
▪️ 3 tbsp water
▪️ 4 small flour tortillas
Instructions:
1. Preheat Fritaire to 400°F.
2. Peel and slice the apple, then place in a bowl with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, and salt. Toss gently and let sit for 15 minutes.
3. Melt butter in a pan over medium-low heat, then add the apple mixture. Simmer until apples soften (add a bit of water if too dry).
4. Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the pan until the mixture thickens.
5. Spoon apple filling onto each tortilla.
6. Fold in the sides, roll tightly, and place seam-side down on a parchment-lined tray.
7. Spray tortillas with cooking spray and bake for 10–15 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy warm.
